George Corbett Motors is a prestigious business that has been operating in Waterford since 1994. They represent the brands Saab, Mazda, Chrysler and Jeep.

The brief for the site included a modern, up to date feel, with a clean layout. Each separate section of the site is colour coded to match the promotional colours of the brand in question. Professional photography combined with careful image optimisation and editing is reflected in the high quality and vibrancy of the images. For a graphically intense site, it is surprisingly quick to load. Navigation of the site is extremely simple, with tabbed menubars opening up as you browse through the site.

The Used Car section is database driven, with a simple yet powerful system to allow staff to add new entries into the system as and when they wish. The database also allows them to upload up to 10 pictures of each car and easily attach them to the car listing. It also allows the list of cars to be broken down and displayed by brand.

The section is template driven, so any design changes can be made quickly, and are instantly reflected throughout the listings. A little trick involves editing the template in such a way that if there are no cars of a particular brand available, a form is presented allowing the customer to fill in their details and send them in. When a car is available of the type they are looking for, they can then be contacted by the sales team.

As new cars come onto the market, we can quickly add that information to the site, allowing the content to remain fresh.
